Adding the LastPass Extension to Firefox

The instructions below apply to Mozilla's Firefox browser. For instructions on how to add the LastPass extension to a different browser, please see the end of the article linked, above.
1. Click on the three stacked lines in the upper right corner of your browser's window.
2. Select Add-ons and themes.
3. This will open the about:addons window. Make sure that Extensions is highlighted (colored blue) in the column on the left.
4. Enter LastPass in the Find more add-ons search box and press ENTER (or Return) on your keyboard.
5. Select LastPass from the results.
6. Click on Add to Firefox.
7. Click Add to confirm that you want to add the extension.
8. Click on the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) in the upper right corner of the browser window to do so.
9. Click on the Gear icon next to LastPass.
10. Select Pin to Toolbar
The LastPass icon will appear in the upper right corner of your browser window.
11. Click on the icon. You will need to review the permissions and accept them.
NOTE: If the LastPass icon is not in color, you will need to log into your LastPass account in that browser to turn it back on.
Click on the icon to sign in.
You will need to open Authenticator on your mobile device to get the six-digit code to complete the log-in.
