Task Triggering Tips Tip 1 If a specific Task is required but the Task Scheduler does not have the appropriate event, the Document Scheduler can be used. The Document and Task Scheduler can be used in conjunction for a specific event. For example, if a meeting is required for a specific ISIR code, it could be handled as follows: Step 1 Create the Document Schedule based on the ISIR Code. Step 2 Note the document used in the Document Scheduler (such as Proof of Citizenship) Step 3 Create a Task Schedule with the basis of document Step 4 Select the document that will trigger the activity (such as Proof of Citizenship) Step 5 Complete the setup of the Task trigger, where the Task Scheduler is a meeting Task with the student Tip 2 Documents and the Document Scheduler can be leveraged in the Packaging Status Promotion Process Step 1 Documents must be configured by clicking on and selecting Configuration- Contact Manager- Documents and selecting the document you wish to configure. Step 2 All documents within the Document List that will be used for Packaging Status Promotion must be associated with the FA module Step 3 If the document is award year specific such as verification worksheets or tax returns, make sure to check the Award Year Specific box indicating so The bottom of the Document section with an arrow pointing to the Award year Specific checkbox. Step 4 Be sure to create separate document codes for documents that may be required for multiple parties (parent, student, spouse) such as SS card, tax return or birth certificates Step 5 Continue by configuring the appropriate document scheduler(s)
