Tasks - Scheduling
The Task Schedule is a function that is used to send notifications to staff or students based on a completed system event
Set-up
Step 1 Create the task: Configuration > Contact Manager > Task Templates
Step 2 Enable security for the task: Settings > Contact Manager > Task Policies
Step 3 Ensure that the users who will be using the new task have the appropriate Task Policy assigned: Settings > Staff > Contact Manager tile
Configure Task Schedule
Step 1 From the "hamburger" (three horizontal bars) drop-down menu, select Configuration > Contact Manager > Task Schedules.

Step 3 The New Task Schedule form will open. Complete the form, making sure to provide a unique description that clearly indicates the purpose of the task.

Note: You selection in the “Schedule Tasks For” field will determine the available fields in the next part of the process. For example, when you select

Step 4 Enter the Trigger criteria: when (required), changes from (status), changes to (status), and Prospect Type.
Step 5 Enter the Task Criteria fields. Make your selections from the the Tasks drop-down menus: events, task template, and assign to fields.
Step 6 Complete the When criteria: duration (days, hours, months or weeks), units (numeric value)m when (before/after), and event (drop-down menu). Click Save from the action bar.
