Tasks - Adding Tasks with Contact Manager
Step 1 From the home page, navigate to the Contact Manager menu on the right. Once you have selected a student record, then click on “Tasks”.
Step 2 Click on the “New” option on the action bar and complete the task form.
The New Task form.Step 3 You must select an existing template for this task or create a new one as this is one of the mandatory fields on the task form. You can choose from existing template by selecting the drop-down menu under the “task template” field OR create a new one under the configuration menu. NOTE: If you cannot find a desired task template in the task template drop down menu, you must back out of the student record and create a task template. See step 4.
Step 4 To create a new template, click on the “burger” icon on the top left-hand corner of the screen and select “Configuration”.

Step 5 In the configuration search bar, type “Template”. From here the list will automatically display the “task templates” option.
Step 6 All existing templates will appear in the next screen, as well as an option to create new. In this example, we will create a new task template.

Step 7 Complete the template form, then click “Save and Close” from the action bar.
Step 8 Return the student record and proceed to create a new task. See steps 1, and 2 above. From here you can locate the template you had just created.
