Jabber Client - Log In and Configuration
NOTE If you have not already set up your Cisco Jabber account, please follow the steps here: https://tccs-help.claremont.edu/support/solutions/articles/21004517724
The Jabber Client will have been installed by TCCS Client Services or by your college's IT department in accordance with their policy. You will not be able to download and install the Jabber client on your computer without Administrator credentials.
1. Open the Cisco Jabber Client.
There will either be a shortcut icon on your desktop or in the tray at the bottom of your screen.

2. Log in with your extension and your password.
IMPORTANT! If you are logging into the client for the first time or after resetting the application, you MUST enter your 5-digit extension followed by @claremont.edu. DO NOT use your campus email or domain.
Example: 86753@claremont.edu NOT 86753@cgu.edu.
NOTE: Your Jabber password is not connected to your Office365 account's password. If you change your Office365 password, your Jabber password will remain unchanged.
ATTENTION! Your computer may autofill the name and password fields with your normal credentials. This will generate an Incorrect Password notice.

3. Once you are logged in, your connection status will display next to your listed phone line(s).
4. If desired, you may update the default Call Settings by clicking on the Status icon.

5. Select Call Preference...

6. Click on the Calls tab on the left.
