Jabber Password Creation

Please note that you must use the web browser portal for the Jabber password creation process.

1. Navigate to the Cisco Self Care Portal, https://portal.voice.claremont.edu/ucmuser/

2. Login with your Extension and Default password - both of which will be provided to you in an email.

3. Select the General Settings tab

4. Create a new password.

The new password must be between 8 and 32 characters and cannot contain any spaces. Both fields must match exactly.

IMPORTANT! Be certain that your password is something that you can remember. If you forget your password, contact ithelp.desk@claremont.edu to have it reset to the default password.

5. Click Save.
